Story Telling or perhaps Story Slam. This class encourages storytellers to focus on the craft of publicly performing. Whether we are telling a story to a friend, a group of strangers or joining a Story Slam competition, Story Telling is an art.

This class will assist you to bring the spoken word to life.

In this class you will learn how to tell your stories in an interesting and entertaining way which is truly your own.
It is your story and we want you to be able to share it with the world with total confidence.

In the narrative of your story you will learn how to organize, excite and create a unique speaker who is always a joy to watch.
This is a short 4-week class where you will learn in a safe secure environment.

Wednesday July 14, 2021 (Week 1)
Wednesday July 21, 2021 (Week 2)
Wednesday July, 11, 2021 (Week 3)
Wednesday August 4, 2021 (Week 4)

You will be responsible for writing and performing a 3 min Story, a slice of your life, a personal story that you are willing to share with your community. You will be put on camera with playback and a critique on how to make it better. I am not reinventing the wheel here I am giving you theatre and film techniques to make your story come alive.

*Overcoming tension, fears and inhibitions getting up in front of folks to tell the Story
