Are you looking for vegan Cuban food in Las Vegas? Cubanidad 1885 is your answer. The vegan-friendly Cuban restaurant located just outside of Summerlin serves up a variety of vegan Cuban eats. The vibrant restaurant offers traditional Cuban food created by Cuban-born chef Dennis Martinez Miranda.
Start your vegan Cuban meal off with Cuban nachos. This platter of malanga and plantain chips comes with a heaping portion of black bean hummus and guac, as well as spicy chimichurri sauce for dipping.
Cubanidad 1885 also offers up their Cal-Neva toast, a Cuban toast topped with black bean puree, sliced avocado, tomato and a few sauces for dipping (our fave is the chimichurri sauce). Order it without butter to make it vegan.
If you’re looking for salads, Cubanidad 1885 has two options — the garden salad featuring mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumber, onions and roasted peppers (hold the croutons), and the tomato and avocado salad with sliced onions, radishes and EVOO.
But, that’s not all.
You can also order up a number of side dishes to round out your meal. Choose from fried plantains topped with pickled onions and chimichurri sauce, sweet plantains, boiled yucca or fried yucca with mojo.
The best is yet to come with Cubanidad 1885. They are working to bring more vegan Cuban dishes to the fast-casual Las Vegas restaurant in the future.
