Las Vegas’ only regular food park featuring food trucks and pop-ups, Real Awesome Food Park, is vegan-friendly. Created by Real Awesome Food’s Paul Samano and curated by Fergusons Downtown, the goal of the new park is to bring real awesome people real awesome food.

And that they do.

The Real Awesome Food Park in Downtown Las Vegas takes place every Friday and Saturday night from 7 - 11 p.m. and includes vegan options. For more vegan dining in Las Vegas, visit www.vegansbaby.co

Featuring some of the best food trucks in town, vegans can head to the park and rest-assured there are options. With new trucks being added, expect the options to vary each weekend.

Phyto’s, the popular vegan hot dog stand, serves up their award-winning hot dog, the Crispy Cowboy, which nabbed a top 10 nod by PETA for the best hot dogs in the nation. They also serve up other dogs (try the Kimchi Kool, swear!) and even Frito Pie.

Be sure to get some of the best noodles we have ever had — the Street Stir Fry featuring Hakka noodles — from Prisma Food Truck. Promise, they’re amazing.

Crock N Roll, which serves crock-pot-inspired street eats, offers a twist on avocado toast. The Rockin’ Avocado Toast is sweet and spicy, and comes topped with avocado, red onion, tomato, flax seeds and red pepper flakes.

There’s also pasteles from HI2SIN Pasteles. Serving up Hawaiian pasteles, order the De Veegas, the vegan option on the food truck menu.

Located in the Llama Lot on Fremont St. across from Atomic Liquors (152 N 9th Street), the new food park runs every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
